Who We Serve

I specialize in Perkins Brailler repair, cleaning, adjustments, and accessibility support. My goal is simple: keep braillers in classrooms, homes, and training centers working the way they should — quietly, consistently, and without frustration.

Every client receives clear communication, fair pricing, and fast turnaround. I understand how essential a working brailler is, and how disruptive it can be when one breaks, so quick and reliable service comes first.

The Log

Work on record

A running record of the work — the kind a repair log keeps, not a highlight reel.

Educational & Braille Production Work

Completed training in Perkins Brailler repair and applied it while repairing school-owned machines used by students. Produced Literary UEB braille for Montana schools after Library of Congress certification, then completed Nemeth training and provided formatting and proofreading for student materials.

“Worked on braille for the school in Literary UEB, and after LOC certification did Nemeth work, formatting, and proofreading to provide the Montana schools materials for their students.”

State Agency Equipment Repair

Repaired and serviced state-owned braillewriters for DPHHS, including cleaning, adjustments, and restoring backspace function.

“I repaired state-owned equipment for DPHHS, cleaning and adjusting the machine and getting the backspace to work properly.”

Service for Blind Individuals

Repaired braillewriters for blind customers, including cleaning sluggish components and replacing worn parts for daily use.

“I serviced equipment for a blind customer, repairing the machine for daily use, cleaning the sluggish stylus, and replacing the main spring.”

Rebuilding & Restoring Equipment

Fully disassembled and rebuilt “parts” machines that were expected to be replaced, returning them to service for school use.

“I have repaired ‘parts’ machines — taking them completely apart and rebuilding them for the school and returning them to service.”

Refurbished Equipment for the Community

Purchased non-working braillewriters, restored them, and sold them to customers who needed reliable equipment.

“I have bought and repaired nonworking machines and sold them to customers who needed them.”
